Shauna

Shauna Bail (PADI Advance Certified) is the daughter of Ken Bail and Linda Marsh, and is home grown on Kauai. She started scuba diving in the bathtub at the age of 2 years old and graduated to the ocean when she was only 6 years old. She was raised around scuba and has naturally become intrigued by the marine environment. She has traveled the world with her parents to gain first-hand experience with different cultures. Her first trip was to the Fijian Islands.  She made her 100th dive on her second trip to Fiji during the 9th grade, and by the time she went to the Galapagos Islands in the 11th grade, she had logged her 200th dive. She has also traveled to Midway where she dove the World War II Corsair discovered by her parents in 1999. In the 11th grade, Shauna received her advance open water certification, thus continuing her diving education.

Shauna would like to further her diving career by earning a Divemaster, Instructors, Nitrox, and USCG Captain certification in the near future. She is currently attending the University of Alaska where she hopes to earn a degree in marine biology. With a college degree, combined with her practical and professional skills, Shauna aspires to increase public awareness of ocean conservation and plans to continue living on Kauai for years to come.
