Pronounced "POO-ooh MOO". Awesome caverns, some as large as 150 by 100 ft. The height of the ceilings can be as high as 40 to 50 ft. The ceilings are a unique habitat with multiple varieties of huge hanging black coral trees with a healthy scattering of large mother-of-pearl shells. White tip reef sharks generally sleep in these caverns, and are usually awakened by visiting divers, at which point they usually circle around the group. Endemic Hawaiian tiger cowries litter the floor along with scurrying lobster. The depth range is 20-70 ft.
